Wheelchair Hoist For Sale!!!

14 Oct 2010: A lovely lady by the name of Helen has contacted me, she has bought a van that came with a wheelchair hoist installed. She doesn’t need the hoist and the person who was using it has passed away and the family has no use for it now.

Helen is based in Holbrook in NSW, which is about half way between Sydney and Melbourne. She is on the Hume Highway though (the main highway from NSW to VIC) and says that there are around 7000 trucks that head through her town everyday and that it should be easy enough for the hoist to be transported if needed.

The hoist is a Ricon Wheelchair Standee hoist with lifting capacity of 800lbs. It works perfectly and has barely been used. It comes with a remote and everything required to attach to a van, as it is going to be removed from the van and ready to ship to wherever required.

The previous owner originally payed $16,000 for the hoist and installation. Helen is asking for offers over $3,000. Obviously, the price doesn’t include transport of the hoist, that will need to be negotiated between the buyer and Helen.

Helen is giving a couple of weeks to sell the hoist through my site before she will list it on eBay, which I’m sure will have it sell very quickly as this is a bargain!
