Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

Tough Tilly

19 Feb 2014Recently on ‘The Project' there was a story on Tilly Wilkes who has Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Tilly's skin blisters at the slightest touch. Every morning her blisters need to be popped to decrease the chance of infection.

Tilly is nearly 3 years old now and is such a fighter that you can see that she will overcome her pain and will succeed in pursuing her passions in life.

Her determination despite the enormous pain she goes through every day is inspirational.

Tilly's parents, Kelly and Corey Wilkes have raised over $500 000 for DEBRA which is the charity that supports EB sufferers to hopefully find a cure.

You can check out the amazingly inspirational story that will stay in your mind and heart for a while here: Tough Tilly.
