Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

Maysoon Zayid

18 Feb 2014A friend gave me a link to this TED Talk by Maysoon Zayid.

She is not only funny but really inspiring as she shares all her 99 problems, where palsy is just one of them.

Maysoon shares how her dad treated her like her sisters which I can so relate to. It is this particular area which I want to highlight because, it is only by being treated like my sisters that you can function in the real world. When you are treated ‘special', real life is really, really hard and the world will not be nice.

As Maysoon has been up against the odds most of her life, her strength and beautiful character shine through and she is a wonderful human being to watch.

Enjoy!
