Can-Do-Ability: Answers and Solutions from my personal experiences of living with a disability

DressAbility

7 Jan 2014If you have a hard time doing up buttons or zippers, or need bigger openings to get clothing items on then check out this website: www.dressability.org.uk/!

I have often dreamt about how I can get rid of all the buttons in my life and now I have an idea. In the past I have been really aware of the clothes I buy not having any buttons and if I do happen to buy winter pyjamas I get someone to sew the buttons closed.

I like the idea of having jumpers do up at the back to I don't have to get the item over my head and balance at the same time – what a fantastic idea!

If you are in the Swindon area, you can have alterations made. If you are somewhere else in the world I think borrowing some of their ideas would be ok.
