Aaron Nielsen – Riding for sick kids
1 Jun 2010:

Last year, I did a story on an awesome little guy called Aaron Nielsen, he went for a walk from Penrith (in Sydney’s West) to Bondi, to raise money for the Starlight Foundation, (an Australian organisation that helps sick kids during their hospital stay). It was a total of 64kms and took Aaron and his supporters 2 days to walk. To view the original story, click here - http://www.candoability.com.au/blogPosts.asp?PostID=13.
This year, Aaron has decided to do another charity event. This time, he wants to ride his bike from Penrith to Batemans Bay, that’s a huge 294kms! It is expected to take around 4 days to complete. Aaron wishes to raise an astronomical amount of $20,000 for the Starlight Foundation and St John’s Ambulance (where he volunteers as a cadet). He'll take all the donations he can get, big or small. So help Aaron out for this amazing cause by donating through his website -
